There is nothing comparable to a BEST FRIEND! Someone you can live totally far away from and either talk daily at times or talk once in a while, but always pick up right where you left off and never miss a beat. I am so blessed to have Amber in my life. We always have a blast when we are together and always end up shopping... Oops ;]

 You may have seen a couple of these pics already on IG and I got asked quite a bit lately where these shorts are from. 

Let me tell you their story...

Back when I use to shop at Abercrombie in 2001, I bought these and they started out as pants. They are soft, super comfy and have stayed this perfect light denim color through the years, making me love them more and more. They acquired a rip at the bottom so I made them capris for about 5 years. Then I was in Hawaii a couple years ago and the knee finally ripped to smithereens so I decided to chop them into shorts and now I love them even more!!

Hello Everyone! 

Sorry I have been a little MIA yet again. It has been a bit of a whirlwind since my BF was here for our half marathon that I think I hit the ground running again, LOL. 

This last week flew by with my hair whipping in the wind behind. 

I decided to take the week off from running {which has been mentally challenging} however my body was not sore after this run like I was the first one. Thank goodness! But I do believe in a healthy break from exercise a couple times a year so your body will be re-challenged and your mind will want it again. I did start the squat challenge though haha... If you follow me on Pinterest you saw it here. My oh my that has me sore already ;]

I am so ready for warmth and Summer that I still cannot get enough of these pastels and soft hues. This polka dot vest is my fave and I am seriously in love with all the silvers and metallics too in case you have not noticed! JK

Hello! 

Wow what an awesome weekend I had with my Best Friend here...

After having fun it is so hard to get motivated and back on track ;]

But I am getting there and I will show you what our weekend entailed. 

Do you ever just feel like throwing on some comfy/casual clothes and heading out? Well that is what I did when heading to the grocery store. It is actually nice to not have a heavy watch or bracelets weighing me down and yet still looking put together for errands! 

I challenge you to try less is more.
